Namco Bandai is developing a Nendroid RPG for the PSP
This weeks' Famitsu revealed that Namco Bandai is currently developing Nendroid Generation, an RPG that will allow players to take control of Nendroid versions of characters from at least ten different franchises. Four properties that have already been announced include Black Rock Shooter, Fate/stay night, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 1st, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. The PSP title is still in the early stages of development, with no release date currently set.
Good Smile Company introduced its Nendroid line back in 2006 with Type-Moon's Neko Arc. Since then, the series has seen close to one-hundred and fifty recreations of characters from different anime and manga as well as other media. A figure typically stands at around ten centimeters high and features a large head and small body, resulting in a cute super-deformed look. Each comes with exchangeable facial expressions, body parts, and accessories, allowing creative owners to recreate their favorite scenes or realize new ones.
